  1. "The sufficiency of Christ in the life of any believer is astounding, a matter of great comfort and encouragement. Whenever we have Christ in our lives, we have everything we need because Christ is everything. He is able to meet every need. He is our peace and protection in every situation, our guard and guide in all we do.”

  12. We do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
    2 Corinthians 4:16-18

    WE CAN'T…BUT GOD CAN!
    (by Helen Steiner Rice)

Why things happen as they do
    We do not always know,
    And we cannot always fathom
Why our spirits sink so low…

We flounder in our dark distress,
    We are wavering and unstable,
    But when we're most inadequate
    The Lord God's always able…

    For though we are incapable,
    God's powerful and great,
And there's no darkness of the mind
    that God can't penetrate…

And all that is required of us
    Whenever things go wrong
Is to trust in God implicitly
With a faith that's deep and strong,

And while He may not instantly
    Unravel all the strands
Of the tangled thoughts that trouble us--
    He completely understands…

And in His time, if we have faith,
    He will gradually restore
    The brightness to our spirit
    That we've been longing for…

So remember, there's no cloud too dark
    For God's light to penetrate
    If we keep on believing
And have faith enough to wait!

  15. I do not know Leslie either, but I am praying intently for God to heal her precious body. Please keep us updated so we know how to pray. I know God is surrounding her with his Angels right now and also the family. I don't have words to say and I don't know how to pray, but I know that our God is a BIG GOD and can do miracles.

Are there specific things we could pray for??

Please Lord Jesus, have mercy on this sweet family and restore Leslie's health. Bring peace and comfort to all those that are hurting during this difficult time. I pray that they will all find the strength through you to stand and be strong through this trying time. Amen

  19. Praying...
And others, let's stop asking for updates and concern on how every one's doing. The family will surely advise when they feel best.

  20. Still praying here in Utah. Is there any updates? Is she still the same? Have there been any changes? What was the opinion of the 2nd doctor brought in.

May God be with her and her little family.

  24. It is a poor faith which can only trust God when friends are true, the body full of health, and the business profitable; but that is true faith which holds by the Lord's faithfulness when friends are gone, when the body is sick, when spirits are depressed, and the light of our Father's countenance is hidden. Spurgeon

This sweet family is showing more true faith than any group of family and friends that I have ever known.... Thank you bond/Evans friends and family for reminding me how important it is to lean on God at all times. Your strength in this has inspired not only my family, but countless others. Prayers for peace being lifted up from Texas.

  30. I have been thinking about Leslie ever since my Zumba friend, Gail Blaylock, mentioned her name and I visited Leslie's Blog. I will continue to keep her and her family in my thoughts. I am so amazed by the number of people praying for her. It is just so wonderful that people can come together and think about someone that they may not have ever met that can touch their lives in such a wonderful way. How many people can do that in a lifetime the way Leslie has done?
