No real news

Just a quick update that there has been no real change on Leslie's status. The family is still with her at the hospital and appreciates all that you have done. Please continue to pray for Leslie, Mark, and the rest of the family.

  9. "When we pray, the door to Heaven is opened.
The Father is moved, when words of faith are spoken.
All of Heaven stands at attention, when the name of Jesus is mentioned.
He hears every word we say when we pray."

Leslie, you are in my prayers!

  46. This story was posted by a friend on facebook. I ruptured my water while carrying my son (our only child) at 20 weeks 4 days. He was born 3 days later at 21 weeks and was too young to survive. In reading Leslie's story, I feel blessed that my delivery recovery was fairly easy. Emotionally is obviously a different story. I want to keep Leslie and her family in my prayers and hope that things turn for the better.

  62. It is God's will to heal, just as it is God's will for all to be saved. It is all part of the price Christ paid. It is done. Don't give up!!! I have walked in your shoes and have witnessed the healing hand of God. Jesus never turned down anyone for a healing in all of the scriptures. He is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. Father God, we know it is your will to heal Leslie. We believe it and we receive it in the name of Jesus. No matter what any doctor or anyone else says, we know that complete healing is your will. Thank you for your promise of James 5:15. Amen

  63. I was just introduced to Leslie through this blog because of my neice who works at the hospital she is at, and who is taking care of her even as I type. She wanted me to pray for her...and so I will. and for all of you. We stand on what Jesus already did for us on the cross. It was enough and it covers everything. Can't wait to hear the testimony of God's glory that will come out of this!

  74. Dear Mark and family - I just got this blog forwarded on to me. I am so sorry for what Leslie has been going through. I am sorry for the loss of your babies. I am not sure of the whole story. This happened to my best friend Annie Hunziker Bashaw. In her case it was a brain embolism after delivering her baby Wesley. I am praying VERY VERY hard for Leslie. This breaks my heart. I will pass it along to people I know who will pray for her. My dad is a Pastor so he can announce it in church. I will follow the blog from now on to keep updated. I am just so sorry this has happened. I wish to know the whole story so I am trying to read back as far as I can. God bless you all. I am praying here in MN. And will continue to pray.

  76. I've been reading about how important it is to speak God's word outloud. Here are some scriptures showing how important it is to speak the Word, and even words of healing.

Ps. 107:20 - He sends His Word and heals me and rescues me...

Heb: 1:14 - angels sent to help believers:
Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?

Ps. 103:20 - angels carry out the spoken word:
Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word.

When we confess God's Word out loud, we write it on our own heart, and it becomes more firmly established in our heart and in the earth.

God'd Word is forever settled in heaven (Ps. 119:89)

Jesus spoke the Word outloud when faced by satan.

Rom 10:9-10 - we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth.

God's Word does not return void (Isa 55:10-11)

Ps. 91: 2 - I will SAY of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

Prov. 4:20-23 - God's Words are life and healing and health to all their flesh.

Ps. 107:20 - He sends His Word and heals me and rescues me...

Jer. 30:17 - The Lord has declared that He will restore me to health and heal my wounds.

I Pet 2:24.... by his wounds I have been healed.
